4-H Key Award is the highest 4-H recognition you can receive! 4-H youth in 11th grade or older in Kewaunee County will be able to apply for the Key Award. Up to three youth will be chosen to receive this award.
Key Award Requirements:
4-H Key Award is the highest 4-H recognition you can receive. 4-H Key Award applicants must have:
1. Consistent 4-H growth
2. Be a 4-H youth in 11th grade or older
3. Must have completed at least 3 years of 4-H
4. 1 year of youth leadership
5. Contributed to service to their club, community, and county
Applications must include:
- Resume highlighting 4-H involvement and achievements (see enclosed sample; maximum length is 2 pages).
- Answers to questions (max length is 250 words per question)
- Two reference forms (attached) completed by someone not directly related to you and sent directly to the Extension Office:
4-H Leader, etc. Someone who knows your 4-H involvement
Individual of your choice (teacher, community leader, another 4-H leader)
Interview:
- You will be contacted to schedule an interview once applications are received.
- Interviews will be held in July and August, in person or on Zoom
