4-H Scholarships
Listed below are some of the many scholarships available to Kewaunee County 4-H members. Most of the scholarships are open to current 4-H members in grades 12 or 13 (one year past high school). Please note that the scholarship opportunities will be listed below as they become available. Make sure that you check the application deadlines because they vary by award.

In addition to the scholarships that are available on a county level, there are state level scholarships awarded through the 4-H Foundation. Many of the state level awards are open to recent 4-H graduates pursuing higher education as well as current 4-H members in grades 12-13. Please note that the deadline to submit for the state level scholarships is typically earlier than the county scholarships are due.


WI State 4-H Scholarship Opportunities:

State 4-H Scholarships
Statewide 4-H scholarships are awarded to 4-H members throughout the state by the WI 4-H foundation. They are open to 4-H member in grades 12 and 13 as well as recent 4-H graduates. There are multiple scholarships awarded for various projects and leadership roles. The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation will award more than $10,000 in scholarships to outstanding Wisconsin students pursuing higher education in 2018.

Kewaunee County 4-H Scholarship Opportunities:

4-H Leader’s Association Scholarship, Teen Association Scholarship, or the Jack Bancroft Poultry and Rabbit Member Scholarship
You can apply for all three of these awards with this one form. Please make sure to check all of the scholarships that you would like to be considered for.

Kewaunee County Leader’s Association and Kewaunee County Teen Leaders Association: All current Kewaunee County 4-H members in grades 12 and 13 can apply for these $500.00 scholarships. You can only receive each of these scholarships once. The deadline to turn in this scholarship application is August 2, 2019.

Jack Bancroft Memorial Scholarship (Poultry and Rabbit members): Kewaunee County 4-H members that are in grades 12-13 and were involved in the poultry or rabbit project are eligible to apply for this $150.00 scholarship. The deadline to turn in this scholarship application is August 2, 2019


Kewaunee County 4-H Horse Project Scholarship: Kewaunee County 4-H members that are in grades 12-13 and have a minimum of four consecutive years in the Kewaunee County 4-H Horse & Pony Project (regular member or horseless horse members are eligible) are eligible to apply for this $250.00 scholarship. The deadline to turn in this scholarship application is August 2, 2019

Kewaunee County Dairy Project Scholarship: This scholarship opportunity is open to all Kewaunee County 4-H Dairy Project members in grades 12 and 13. The deadline to turn in this application is July 10, 2019 by 4pm

Kewaunee County Auction Committee Scholarship: This scholarship opportunity is open to Kewaunee County 4-H members that in grades 12 or 13 and that have sold at the the Kewaunee County Fair auction for a minimum of two years. The deadline to turn in this scholarship application is August 2, 2019

Kewaunee County Holstein Breeders Scholarship – Please note, this is not a 4-H or Extension Scholarship, we are posting for our community partner 

Applicant must be currently enrolled or high school senior intending to enroll as a full time student in a
Bachelor’s Program at any college or university, or a two-year Associate Degree Program at any technical
college or Short Course. The applicant must plan to pursue further education within the next school year.
