Jason is co-leader of the UW-Extension Bioenergy and Bioeconomy Team and coordinates the Lake Superior Woody Biomass Trails. He supports wood-to-energy projects primarily in Northern Wisconsin.

Tim is a professor of Business Development and State Energy specialist with the University of Wisconsin-Extension. Baye’s role with SWET is to provide research and educational programs serving renewable energy executives, professionals and policy leaders.

TJ is a founding board member of BTEC, steering committee member and President of Heating the Midwest, part of DATCP’s Bioenergy Advisory Council, member of North Central Technical College’s Wood Technology Advisory Committee and many other forestry, heating and pellet fuel industry networks throughout the U.S. to advocate for efficient, renewable wood heating. As V.P. at Marth he helped facilitate growth for over 18 years in biomass heating pellets, bedding, wood flour, operations, management and business development. He’s currently working on a variety of business endeavors in biomass and other areas such as natural gas consulting and commercial real estate advisor.
