Scott managed the Rural Energy Program which looks for ways to reduce energy use in agriculture and rural businesses, provide educational materials on energy efficiency and promotes energy generation from renewable energy sources.

Jason is co-leader of the UW-Extension Bioenergy and Bioeconomy Team and coordinates the Lake Superior Woody Biomass Trails. He supports wood-to-energy projects primarily in Northern Wisconsin.

TJ is a founding board member of BTEC, steering committee member and President of Heating the Midwest, part of DATCP’s Bioenergy Advisory Council, member of North Central Technical College’s Wood Technology Advisory Committee and many other forestry, heating and pellet fuel industry networks throughout the U.S. to advocate for efficient, renewable wood heating. As V.P. at Marth he helped facilitate growth for over 18 years in biomass heating pellets, bedding, wood flour, operations, management and business development. He’s currently working on a variety of business endeavors in biomass and other areas such as natural gas consulting and commercial real estate advisor.

Maria serves as the Director of the Office of Sustainability and Clean Energy at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin. She works with Wisconsin citizens, businesses and municipalities to implement innovative sustainability and energy projects.
