The 2023 4-H HeatWave Show Choir is HEATING UP!

If you are a young vocalist and you are looking for an enriching and engaging musical experience, you should definitely consider joining HeatWave Show Choir! Comprised of talented and dedicated 4-H kids from grades 6 through 13, this captivating choir promises to offer a fun, exciting, and unforgettable musical journey.

With the aim to deliver a 30-minute performance for a couple venues in 2023, and an even bigger show in 2024, the HeatWave Show Choir is the quintessential opportunity to develop your vocal skills, build up your confidence, and expand your artistic horizons. Not only will you have the chance to explore various styles of music, but you will also get to collaborate with other young 4-H singers who share your passion for music.

In addition to being an incredibly rewarding musical experience, joining HeatWave Show Choir also offers valuable opportunities to develop important life skills, such as teamwork, leadership, and communication. HeatWave is a show choir founded in 1991 as a positive outlet and educational opportunity for 4-H youth in Rock & Walworth County. HeatWave exists to teach performance skills and develop talent, to encourage cooperation and creativity, to expand and demonstrate leadership and communication skills, and to promote Rock & Walworth County 4-H as its musical ambassadors.

HeatWave does not hold auditions. The group’s requirements are:
1.) You must be in 6th grade or up as of October 1, 2022.
2.) You must be a 4-H member in Rock OR Walworth County.

Members must also:
1.) Have a willingness to learn
2.) Be enthusiastic and cooperative
3.) Be responsible and committed to hard work
