Interview with an Engineer!

Career Spark Interview Series
7:30 p.m., Thurs., April 29
Have you ever considered becoming an engineer?
My name is Kyara Diaz, I was born in Peru and immigrated to the US with my immediate family in 2001. When we first arrived, we settled in Pendlenton, OR and then moved to Nampa, ID where I graduated from high school. I went to Boise State and graduated with a degree in civil engineering. For the past six years I have worked for Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. (MDU) as an engineer in the distribution of natural gas. This was my first job out of college and I have been a full-time employee ever since. I currently reside in Austin, Texas and have worked remotely since before the pandemic. I look forward to sharing my professional experience with you and hopefully ‘spark’ you to pursue higher education in the field of your interest.
