Jefferson County Area Animal Science Day Results

Rock County 4-H was well represented Tues., June 22 at Area Animal Science Day held at the Jefferson County Fair Park!
Rock County 4-H Junior Dairy Judging Team A including Gracin Speich, Jack Boston, Benjamin Uhe and Kayla Trustem placed second in the competition. Gracin Speich placed fourth overall and Jack Boston placed seventh overall.
Rock County 4-H Junior Dairy Judging Team B including Chesney Speich, Mallory Nifong, Mason Glick and Bryce Skemp placed seventh in the competition.
Rock County 4-H Junior Dairy Judging Team C including Stella Kempel, Madison Sarbacker and Kennedy Paul placed fifteenth in the competition.
Rock County 4-H Senior Dairy Judging Team including Quincee Johnson, Sara Kronberg, Emma McNally, Melody Baxter and Morgan Knilans placed second in the competition. Quincee Johnson placed fifth overall and Sara Kronberg placed sixth overall.

Ellie Larson placed first in the Dairy Leadsperson Competition and Skylar Stanley placed second.
Kaden Butts and Sydney Watson participated in the Junior Livestock Competition that consisted of judging heifers, ewes, gilts, market lambs, market cattle, market hogs and goats. They also answered placing questions, did slaughter cattle grading and took a written exam.
