The Wisconsin 4-H Leadership Council (WLC) provides a statewide forum for youth and adult volunteer leaders to discuss ideas and provide input to enhance UW-Madison Extension 4-H Youth Development programs at the state, county, and local levels. WLC is accepting applications until October 14. Dates, details, and application materials can be found on their webpage.

Through work together in the spring and summer, 4-H Drama Company creates a stage performance involving acting, song and dance to present at the Pathways Conference in Madison, WI. Show content is a collaborative effort between company members and their director. Each Drama Company member contributes ideas for the show and works with the group to problem solve issues on the set and in the script. Drama Company members also lead workshops for youth attending the UW-Madison Pathways Conference.

4-H Arts Team creates collaborative artwork to represent Wisconsin 4-H each year. The Arts Team also spends over a week in Madison in June to support the Pathways Conference. The team members teach seminars and train to be peer leaders for county and regional events including Fall Forum. The 4-H Arts Team is led by a professional artist who teaches team members artistic techniques using a variety of mediums.

An early application period is available this year for Drama Company and Arts Team – apply by November 1, 2022 for early consideration; final deadline is January 15, 2023. More information, dates, and application instructions can be found on their webpage.
