Last Saturday at Hedberg Public Library, in partnership with HPL and YWCA Rock County, we created papel picado, paper flowers and chains as decoration.  We revved up our taste buds spinning the wheel to explore traditional foods.  And, we played many rounds of loteria. . .

Did you miss the in person celebration?  Don’t worry.  You can play all month long by simply visiting the Hedberg Public Library’s Facebook page.

Look for an album entitled, “Hispanic Heritage Month” 2021.  Inside that album you will find images that invite you to try activities at home and explore resources.  Comment or post a picture of your fun to the album and you could win a gift to a local Latino owned business.  Here is a pdf that shows our DO-REFLECT-APPLY lottery card and the instructions.
