This year’s Rock County 4-H Music and Drama Festival will be held virtual. Video entries will be submitted via sharing with rockcounty4hjrcouncil.com on Google Drive. Rock County 4-H members in grades K-13 are encouraged to participate.

We have five categories to enter in!! Entries may be done by a group or individual. Groups can be a family unit, other 4-H members joining together virtually, or other 4-H members joining together in person following current guidelines from WI 4-H. Each group or individual may participate in as many entries as they would like.

1.  Fork Skit: In this category, you will write a skit using a fork. The skit can be as funny or as serious as you want to make it, but it must include a fork. Try not to use the fork as a fork, instead try using it as something else.
2. Dance: For the Dance category, you can either choreograph your own dance or learn a dance that is already choreographed. 
3. Drama: The Drama category is for short plays or skits. These can be originally written or an existing script.
4. Vocal: In this category, you can sing a song or two by yourself or join with others. 
5. Any Other: The Any Other category is for entries that don’t fit into any of the other four categories, such as: magic acts, puppet shows, stand-up comedy, musical instruments, etc. 

All entries must be submitted as a horizontal video and will be due Friday, May 7th, 2021 via sharing on Google Drive. Registration must be submitted with the link below prior to sharing your video.

We will not have formal judges this year. After all videos are submitted, they will be closed captioned (a UW-Madison Extension requirement) and then the entire 4-H community will be able to vote for their favorites!! We hope to have lots of participation! Have fun! Be creative! Be original!
