On June 15, Rock County 4-H members attended the Area Animal Sciences Days Livestock Judging Contest at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds. Rock County 4-H had a Junior Team of five members and a Senior Team of four members take part. We also had number of other 4-H members that went to practices this spring but were unable to attend the contest.

Both Junior and Senior Teams did great, both earning 2nd place honors, and many recognized in the “Top 10!”

Junior Team:  Emersen and Kaden Butts, Evansville 4-H; Mason and Owen Fleming, Johnstown 4-H and Rachel Reilly, Evansville 4-H.

Senior Team:  Chance Austin, Milton 4-H; Brynlea Crull, Evansville 4-H; Jaxon Dooley, Plymouth 4-H; Cierra White, LaPrairie 4-H.

We thank all the host farms, Rock County Fairgrounds, UW-Madison Division of Extension, volunteers and judging families for all their time and efforts as we worked to get back to AASD for the first time in a really, really long time and we look forward to building this program opportunity to Rock County 4-Hers in the future!
