On September 10th, October 8th, and November 12th the virtual summit starts at 9:30am with a keynote followed by a diverse set of breakout sessions. We will conclude each morning by noon. We highly encourage you to bring in youth voices and perspectives from your community or participate as a professional team!
Ananda Mirilli, Nina Collective, will start our 2021 summit with Restoring Ourselves and Our Communities in Times of Racial Reckoning. In October, Cecelia Rose LaPointe will keynote with Racial Justice in Anishinaabe Aki. David Muhammed of Milwaukee County Health and Human Services will conclude our keynotes in November with a presentation entitled Treating Violence through Public Health.
The Wisconsin Restorative Justice Summit is a FREE professional development and youth engagement opportunity. The Summit is made possible with grants from the UW-Madison Division of Extension and the Wisconsin Law Foundation. Individual certificates of participation will be generated after each session when requested.
