Summer Camp

Upham Woods will bring exploration, discovery, and fun to your summer. We partner with 4-H county programs for summer camp and we offer unique outdoor learning experiences through grants and our other partnerships.

4-H Summer Camps

Upham Woods supports 4-H summer camp for dozens of counties. See if yours comes to Upham!

Wisconsin Youth Water Stories Summit

We are proud to host this summit annually where scientists of all ages come together to explore the 4 1/2 miles of Wisconsin River shoreline we have at Upham Woods. Participants will splash, study, and write the story of their waterway. Features water resource professionals sharing their water stories.

Camp Counselor Training

Upham Woods supports young people taking on leadership roles at summer camp. During the school year, we host multiple camp counselor training weekends to prepare our young people to be summer camp leaders.

Family Camp

Too young or too old to come to camp alone? Come with the whole family for one of our Family Camp weekends. Participate in all of our summer camp programming alongside your siblings, grandparents, aunties, and whoever else makes up your family unit.

Adventure Camping: Outpost

We offer the opportunity to tent camp at Upham Woods and nearby state parks. This is a great option for an older camper looking to refine their outdoor skills.
