Naturalist Spotlight: Quentin Cauffman

Hello, my name is Quentin! I am honored to be a part of the summer of 2017 Upham Staff here in the Dells. I am from Elkhorn, WI which is located in Walworth County where I love spending time camping and enjoying the outdoors.

I have just graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies. During my four years there I was part of the Ohio State Pistol Team where I competed across the country in shooting competitions and hope to bring that experience to the Archery program!

Upham woods is not only special to me because of its deep roots in 4-H, but also because of my experiences that I have been a part of here. I am a former camper/counselor with Walworth County for 9 years and always aspired to be part of the Upham staff as a naturalist.

Now that I have this opportunity I am so blessed and humbled to be a part of this great program and hope to give the same experience and aspirations to the youth of this summer. I hope to accomplish goals the campers set and hope to inspire a passion for the outdoors. Upham woods is a beautiful place for youth to grow and develop and I cannot wait to be a part of it. I am looking forward to sharing my past experiences while creating new ones where my dreams as a camper started.
